Do’s

-          Speak clearly
-          Signpost where you are going with your topic
-          Give eye contact
-          Keep it interesting
-          Speak loudly
-          Move about appropriately (eye contact etc)
-          Keep it simple
-          Do smile (appropriately )
-          Know what you’re talking about
-          Be prepared
-          Proof read
-          Get audience involved
-          Present yourself correctly (PE kit, suit etc)
-          Practice it, beforehand
Don’ts

-          Use lots of animation
-          Use unnecessary colours/images
-          Hide behind sheets
-          Use inappropriate language
-          Don’t be intoxicated
-          Be Ill prepared
-          Don’t trivialize – keep it relevant
-          Don’t keep your voice in 1 tone (monotone)
-          Don’t over emphasise OTT
-          Don’t fidget
-          Don’t have an awkward silence
-          Don’t have your back to the audience
